Valentino was here in Singapore.
Not the man himself, but some of the best in his massive collection. Resorts World Sentosa played host to the exclusive exhibition- Valentino, Retrospective: Past / Present / Future.
Thank goodness I managed to catch it on the last day. Who knows how many more years do I have to wait for another show like this. The only disappointing part is that we cannot get enough of the haute couture. The exhibition hall was surprisingly small, considering Valentino being one of the most laudable designer of all times. I am sure he has much more to present than this. It was like a mini capsule, encompassing bits and pieces of his most memorable works.

You have to pardon me for the bad photography. The lighting was pretty bad, perhaps it was to create a romantic atmosphere which was the essence of Valentino. No flash was allowed, thus. These pictures were after treatment for brightness and contrast. If not, it would be far worse. Hope you will still enjoy.
This was the highlight of the exhibition, used as the main visual in all its publicity materials.

Oh my god, I was desperate to go down there but I thought it ended right on the 31st of January!! I live in Brunei so I had no clue that it was extended to the 19th... >:(
Well, lucky you anyways. Btw, do you have any idea where the retrospective is headed to next?
